It's been a busy start of the school year.

Four weeks into school and I've finally got a chance to work on my own artwork. I'm working on a few watercolor pieces using some scrap watercolor paper.





I really like the effect the salt produces.


I also started an acrylic piece today. A demonstration for my IB juniors on stretching a canvas was the perfect excuse to get going on a piece.

The start of summer artwork.

I finally cleared a spot on the dining room table to work. I finished the first layer of modeling paste.




I like working in layers and I usually work much bigger but after the AP art training last week I thought I'd do another small series like the ones done on playing cards last week.



These must have six or seven layers of gesso on them.
